The whole idea of the Savage Seven is to accommodate runners who want to run as many marathons as possible in the shortest amount of time.<\/p>It is the perfect way to finish off the year with 7 Marathons, Half Marathons, or 50K races. Run around a beautiful 5-mile loop at the Baseline Road Trailhead during the week between Christmas and New Year’s! You don’t have to run all seven days, you can run any number of races or a combination thereof. There will be a special award for those who run all seven days. The weather normally averages between 50 to 80 degrees, usually with no rain (or snow).<\/p>
Our course is mostly a 12′ wide asphalt path with no hills or motor traffic that winds through a beautiful pine forest. Runners will run five laps of approximately five miles each with no time limit.<\/p>
The rates for the 2024 Race Series from July 2024 to September 30, 2024:<\/strong> $100 each for the 50K and the Full Marathon, and $60 for each Half Marathon.<\/p>From October 1st until race day the rates are<\/strong> $120 for each 50K or Full Marathon and $80 for each Half Marathon.<\/p>Race day registration rates are <\/strong>$130 for each 50K or Full Marathon and $90 for each Half Marathon.<\/p>Each race begins at 6 AM. Race day registration is from 5:30 am to 6:00 am. Those who register on race day will receive an official time, but may not receive a finisher medal or t-shirt.\u00a0 Bib pick-up begins at 5:30 am.\u00a0<\/p>
We have had good food in the past and this year we will have even better food. We will have a hot dish and pizza every day!
